To calibrate the touch screen on the LeapFrog 80-600800 Mr. Pencil's Scribble & Write, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Settings Mode by pressing the Settings button on the toy.
2. A small dot will appear in each corner of the screen, and you will hear a voice saying "Tap it!".
3. Use the stylus to touch each dot exactly as instructed. Start with the top left dot and continue clockwise.
4. After touching each dot correctly, another dot will appear, and the voice will say "Tap it!" again.
5. Continue touching each dot until all four dots have been calibrated.
6. The screen will show "OK" if the screen has been calibrated correctly.
7. If a dot isn't touched correctly, you will hear a voice saying "Oops! Try Again.", and the calibration process will restart.
By calibrating the touch screen, you should be able to improve its responsiveness and accuracy. If the issue persists after calibration, please refer to the troubleshooting section in the user's guide or contact LeapFrog's Consumer Services Department for further assistance.
