To set up the Masterbuilt MB20070210 Electric Smoker for the first time, follow these steps:
1. Assemble the smoker by attaching the legs, handles, and control panel according to the instructions provided in the user manual.
2. Make sure the water bowl is in place without water.
3. Plug the power cord into an outlet. Ensure that the outlet is grounded and meets the electrical requirements specified in the manual.
4. Turn the control xxxx to the desired temperature setting. The indicator light will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
5. Preheat the smoker for 30 to 45 minutes at the maximum temperature before loading food.
6. During the preheating process, add 1/2 cup of wood chips to the wood chip bowl.
