Adjusting the stapling depth on the Bostitch 2638 Sheet Electric Stapler is a simple process. Here are the steps:
1. Locate the depth control dial on the stapler. It is usually located near the front or side of the stapler.
2. Turn the depth control dial clockwise to increase the stapling depth or counterclockwise to decrease the stapling depth. The dial may have markings or numbers indicating the depth setting.
3. Test the stapler on a scrap piece of paper to ensure the stapling depth is adjusted to your desired level. If the staples are not penetrating the paper enough, increase the depth setting. If the staples are going too deep or causing damage to the paper, decrease the depth setting.
