To switch between battery and USB power on the Amazon Basics 71202 Portable Electric Pencil Sharpener, follow these steps:
1. Battery Power:
- Remove the battery cover from the battery compartment.
- Insert 4 AA/LR6 batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment by locking the battery cover into place with an audible click.
2. USB Power:
- Insert the USB power cable into the DC socket on the sharpener.
- Connect the USB plug to a suitable USB outlet.
Please note that you can only use one power source at a time. If you have batteries inserted and the USB power cable connected, the sharpener will use the USB power source. To switch to battery power, disconnect the USB power cable and ensure the batteries are properly inserted.
