To change the punch heads on the Bostitch BOSEHP3BLK Electric 3-Hole Punch, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the hole punch is unplugged or that the batteries are removed for safety.
2. Locate the punch head cover on the top of the hole punch. It is usually marked with arrows or a label indicating the punch head area.
3. Gently lift the punch head cover to reveal the punch heads.
4. Take note of the orientation of the punch heads and their position in the punch head slots. This will help ensure proper alignment when installing the new punch heads.
5. Using a small screwdriver or a similar tool, carefully push down on the metal tab located at the back of each punch head. This will release the punch head from its slot.
6. Once the metal tab is depressed, slide the punch head out of the slot towards the front of the hole punch.
7. Repeat this process for each punch head that needs to be replaced.
8. Take the new punch heads and align them with the slots in the punch head area. Make sure they are oriented correctly based on the previous punch head positions.
9. Gently slide the new punch heads into the slots, pushing them towards the back of the hole punch until they click into place.
10. Press down on each punch head to ensure they are securely installed.
11. Close the punch head cover and make sure it snaps into place.
12. Plug in the hole punch or insert the batteries, and the punch heads are now ready for use.
