Step 1: Install the correct punch mandrel on the hydraulic cylinder, along with the female portion of the punch die.
Step 2: Drill a pilot hole large enough to clear your selected punch mandrel in the panel or material you are working on.
Step 3: Insert the punch mandrel through the drilled hole in the panel. Install the male portion of the punch die by threading it down until it is snug against the material to be punched.
Step 4: Close the pump valve and begin pumping the handle to drive the punch through the metal. Once the cut is complete, release the pump valve, remove the punch dies, and proceed to the next hole.
