To set up the Tetra 29049 LED Half Moon Aquarium Kit, follow these steps:
1. Carefully remove the packaging.
2. Clean the tank using clean water and paper towels. Avoid using chemicals not intended for aquarium use.
3. Add three AA batteries (not included) to the battery compartment in the LED light. Alternatively, you can use a Micro USB B cable as an alternative power source (visit the online catalog for details).
4. Place the aquarium on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and air vents.
5. Rinse your gravel and decorations thoroughly before adding them to the tank.
6. Decorate your aquarium before adding water to avoid over-filling.
7. Fill the tank with room-temperature tap water and add 8 drops of Tetra BettaSafe or one Tetra BettaSafe tablet to remove chlorine.
8. Carefully inspect the tank for any chips or cracks.
9. Do not operate the kit if it is malfunctioning, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
10. Children under 13 should have adult supervision during setup, maintenance, and fish care.
11. Do not use the kit for any purpose other than its intended use. Using attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
12. Ensure that the aquarium is securely seated before filling or operating.
13. Avoid water in the battery compartment, as it can cause leakage or corrosion. Do not operate the kit if the batteries are leaking or corroded.
