To empty the shavings from the X-ACTO 1675X Electric Pencil Sharpener, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the sharpener is unplugged from the power source before attempting to empty the shavings receptacle.
2. Locate the shavings receptacle, which is usually located at the bottom or back of the sharpener.
3. Gently remove the shavings receptacle by pulling it straight out from the sharpener. Be careful not to spill the shavings.
4. Dispose of the shavings in a trash bin or appropriate waste container.
5. Once the shavings receptacle is empty, carefully reinsert it back into the sharpener until it clicks into place.
6. Ensure that the shavings receptacle is securely closed before using the sharpener again.
Note: It is recommended to regularly empty the shavings receptacle to prevent it from becoming too full, which can affect the sharpener's performance.
