To insert the batteries into the Westcott 15570 iPoint Ball Battery Pencil Sharpener, follow these steps:
1. Turn the sharpener upside down to access the battery compartment.
2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the sharpener.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover open using your thumb or a small tool.
4. Insert two AA batteries into the compartment, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are aligned correctly.
5. Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
Please note that the batteries are not included with the sharpener, so you will need to purchase them separately. Make sure to use fresh batteries for optimal performance.
