To install the batteries in the LeapFrog 6013 Phonics Fun Animal Bus, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit.
3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the xxxx and open the battery cover.
4. Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries into the battery box as illustrated. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the xxxx to secure it.
It is important to note that new alkaline batteries are recommended for maximum performance. Make sure to insert the batteries with the correct polarity (+/-) and do not mix different types of batteries. If the unit does not turn on after installing new batteries, please refer to the troubleshooting section of the user's guide or contact LeapFrog's Consumer Services Department for further assistance.
