To set the feeding times and amounts for the Lukovee Automatic Fish Feeder, please follow these steps:
1. Unbox the Feeder: Take the Lukovee Automatic Fish Feeder out of the box and make sure that all of the parts are inside.
2. Charge the Feeder: Use the cord that came with the feeder to connect it to a USB power source and let it charge for 3–4 hours.
3. Set up the Feeder: Choose the appropriate way to fix the feeder based on your tank setup:
- Surface That Is Flat: Stick the feeder to a flat surface of the tank with the two-sided sticker.
- Glass Tank: Use the base's movable clamp to hold the feeder to the glass of the tank.
4. Put Food In: Open the feeder's top cover and put the right amount of fish food into the bin.
5. Change the Feed Door: Adjust the feed door to manage the quantity of food given at each feeding.
6. Set Feeding Times: Use the monitor to choose the times you want to feed the fish. The Lukovee Automatic Fish Feeder can provide up to three feedings a day.
7. Adjust Meal Quantity: You can change how much food is given by setting the number of turns per meal.
8. Test Operation: To ensure the feeder is dispensing the right amount of food, run a test feeding loop.
9. Check the Battery Level: Regularly check the battery level and charge it as needed to keep the feeder working.
10. Clean the Feeder: Take the silo apart periodically to clean it and keep the feeding area clean.
11. Reprogram as Needed: Adjust the feeding times and amounts based on your fish's needs.
12. Secure Mounting: Ensure the feeder is securely attached to the tank to prevent accidental falls.
13. How to Store It: When not in use, keep the feeder in a dry place to protect it from dust and water.
