To use the Hamilton Beach 76606Z Smooth Touch Can Opener, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the activation lever is pulled all the way UP and in the UNLOCKED position.
2. Place the can against the front of the can opener and lift it up until the rim is under the cutting mechanism.
3. Allow the can opener to make one full rotation around the can.
4. When you hear the motor sound shift to a higher pitch, it indicates that the can is open.
5. Carefully lift the lid up to remove it.
Note: The motor of the can opener will not automatically stop or lift the lid when the can is open. It is important to exercise caution when handling the lid.
