To clean the Proctor Silex 75224PS Power Electric Automatic Can Opener, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the complete cutting assembly by pushing the piercing lever up and to the left. It will pop out of a locked position.
3. Wash the cutting assembly in hot, soapy water.
4. Rinse the cutting assembly thoroughly and dry it completely.
5. Wipe the body of the can opener with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the can opener in water.
6. To reassemble, place the xxxx on the back of the cutting assembly into the large end of the keyhole and push it to the right until it snaps into place.
Please note that the cutting assembly can be washed, but the body of the can opener should not be submerged in water.
