To install the batteries in the LeapFrog 80-602900 My First Learning Tablet, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit.
3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the xxxx and open the battery cover.
4. Install 3 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries into the battery box as illustrated. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the xxxx to secure.
It is important to use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance and to not mix different types of batteries. Make sure to insert the batteries with the correct polarity and remove exhausted batteries during long periods of non-use. If the unit repeatedly powers down quickly, it may be necessary to change the batteries.
