There are a few possible reasons why your LeapFrog 80-19262E Scout's Learning Lights Remote may not be turning on:
1. Off/Low/High switch position: Make sure the Off/Low/High switch is not in the Off position. Slide the switch to the desired volume setting to turn on the remote.
