To clean the Jaregu HP-01 diffuser, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the diffuser and empty any remaining water from the tank.
2. Disassemble the diffuser by removing the top cover and separating the water tank from the base.
3. Use a soft cloth or sponge dampened with mild soap and water to clean the tank and other removable parts. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may damage the diffuser.
4. Pay special attention to the ultrasonic plate, which is responsible for creating the mist. Gently wipe it with a soft cloth to remove any residue or buildup.
5. If you notice mineral deposits or scaling, especially if you use hard water, you can descale the diffuser by mixing equal parts water and white vinegar. Fill the tank with the mixture and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. Then, empty the tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
6. After cleaning, reassemble the diffuser and ensure all parts are securely in place.
7. It is recommended to clean the diffuser regularly, especially if you frequently change essential oils or notice decreased mist output.
