To connect the JOWSET AP302 Smart Wi-Fi Air Purifier to your Wi-Fi network, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the air purifier is adequately powered and that the power switch is pressed ON.
2. Make sure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If your router supports dual-band, select the 2.4GHz network specifically for the air purifier setup.
3. Double-check that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi network name and password when connecting the air purifier. Avoid using emojis, special characters, or symbols in your Wi-Fi name and password. Stick to alphanumeric characters for seamless connectivity.
4. Disable any VPN (Virtual Private Network) or Proxy Server settings on your mobile device, as they can interfere with the air purifier's connection process.
5. Ensure that both the air purifier and your mobile device are within close proximity to the router during the setup process. This proximity enhances the strength and stability of the connection.
6. Press and hold the power button on the air purifier for 3-5 seconds. Wait for the display to show the Wi-Fi icon, indicating that the air purifier is ready to connect to your network.
7. Open the "Smart Home Life" app on your mobile device and create an account using a working email address or your mobile number. Log in to the app.
8. Tap on "Add Device" and select the model of your air purifier.
9. Make sure the Wi-Fi status indicator on the air purifier is flashing.
10. Select your router's Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the correct password.
11. Wait for the app to establish a connection with the air purifier. Once connected, the status should change to "Connected."
If the Wi-Fi status indicator on the air purifier does not flash, simultaneously press and hold the button on the air purifier for 3 seconds until you hear two beeps. This will reset the Wi-Fi connection.
