To change the difficulty level on the Minute Math Electronic Flash Card, follow these steps:
1. Press the number buttons 1, 2, or 3 to select a skill level. The selected level will be displayed on Screen 1.
- Skill Level 1: This level tests early addition and subtraction of numbers 0–10, or multiplication tables 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10.
- Skill Level 2: This level increases the difficulty by featuring numbers 10–20 in addition/subtraction, or multiplication tables 3–12.
- Skill Level 3: Play this level for a real challenge. Addition/Subtraction features equations with multiples of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10, all the way up to 150, and multiplication tables 0–12.
2. After selecting the skill level, the Minute Math drill will begin after a five-second countdown. Players will have sixty (60) seconds to solve as many equations as they can by filling in the missing number.
Note: If you want to disable the 60-second timer and practice solving unlimited math equations, you can press and hold the button (1, 2, or 3) when selecting a skill level. The screen will flash briefly, indicating that the timer has been disabled. To restore the timer function, select a new game by sliding the selection switch.
