To turn on the Southwire 40150N Non-Contact AC Voltage Detector, follow these steps:
1. Locate the On/Off button on the tester. It is labeled on the device.
2. Press and release the On/Off button momentarily. The tester will emit a single beep, and the green LED indicator will illuminate. This indicates that the tester is now on and ready for use.
Note: If the tester does not emit a beep or the green LED does not illuminate, check the batteries and replace them if necessary.
3. To turn off the tester, press and release the On/Off button again. The tester will emit two beeps, and the green LED indicator will turn off.
Remember to turn off the tester when not in use to conserve battery life.
