To test the Weikani VT120 Non-Contact Voltage Tester before use, follow these steps:
1. Press the flashlight button tightly and check if the flashlight light is dim. If the light is dim, it indicates low battery power, and the batteries should be replaced immediately.
2. Move the sensing tip of the unit close to a known AC power source, such as an outlet. If the unit is functioning properly, the buzzer will beep, and the detection light will flash red.
Note: It is important to test the unit before each use to ensure accurate voltage detection and to maintain user safety.
