To replace the batteries in the Crayola 74-7404-A-000 Light Up Tracing Pad, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the tracing pad by switching the 3-mode switch to the "Off" position.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tracing pad.
3. Use a small screwdriver or coin to open the battery compartment cover.
4. Insert 2 AA batteries into the compartment, making sure to align them according to the indicated polarity (+/-).
5. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
6. Turn on the tracing pad by switching the 3-mode switch to the desired setting (On or Auto).
Please note that the batteries required for the Crayola 74-7404-A-000 Light Up Tracing Pad are 2 AA batteries, which are sold separately. Make sure to use fresh batteries for optimal performance.
