To change the batteries in the Dimple DC12696 Interactive Musical Elephant, please follow these steps:
1. Carefully take the elephant out of its box, ensuring that you do not damage the toy.
2. Check the contents of the box to make sure all parts, including the elephant and any extras, are present and in good shape.
3. Locate the battery compartment, which is usually located near the switch that turns the toy on and off.
4. Open the battery compartment by using a small screwdriver or your fingernail to slide the cover open.
5. Insert fresh batteries into the compartment, making sure to align them correctly with the polarity marks (+ and -).
6. Close the battery compartment securely by sliding the cover back into place.
7. Turn on the toy using the switch located near the battery compartment.
8. Test the toy's features, such as the singing and peek-a-boo modes, to ensure they are functioning properly.
