To install the batteries in the Pets Alive 9542B Electronic Pooping Puppies, please follow these steps:
1. Carefully take the puppy out of its box, being careful not to break the toy in the process.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the puppy. It is usually located on the underside or back of the toy.
3. Open the battery compartment by sliding or lifting the cover.
4. Insert three AAA batteries into the compartment, making sure to align them with the polarity signs (+ and -) indicated inside the compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment securely.
6. The toy is now ready to use. Use the power button, usually located near the battery compartment, to turn the puppy on.
