To calibrate the CMT DAG-001 Digital Angle Gauge, follow these steps:
1. Place the gauge on a flat surface and press the ON/OFF and ZERO buttons simultaneously until "-1" appears on the display (Fig. 7 in the manual).
2. Press the ON/OFF button briefly. The display will show "-1-" and it will start flashing until "-2-" appears (Fig. 8).
3. Rotate the gauge backward 180 degrees and press the ON/OFF button. The display will show "-2-" and continue flashing for a short period of time (Fig. 9).
4. Once the flashing stops, the calibration is complete. The display will show angles in "ABS" mode (Fig. 10).
It is recommended to calibrate the gauge in case of accidental falling, damages, or angle faults only. Make sure to perform the calibration on a flat and stable surface for accurate results.
