To turn on the VTech 80-509100 Bright Lights Soccer Ball, locate the On/Off/Volume Control Switch on the electronic module inside the ball. Slide the switch to either the Low Volume ( ) or High Volume ( ) position. You should hear a song, a fun phrase, and a playful sound, indicating that the unit is turned on. If the ball doesn't turn on, please make sure that you have inserted 2 new AAA batteries into the battery compartment following the diagram inside. Also, ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly according to the polarity markings. If the issue persists, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact VTech's Consumer Services Department for further assistance.
