To replace the batteries in your VTech 80-184900 Wiggle and Crawl Ball, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the ball. Use a screwdriver to loosen the xxxx .
3. Install 3 new 'AA' (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. It is recommended to use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the xxxx to secure it.
It is important to note that you should use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. Do not mix different types of batteries, and do not use damaged batteries. Make sure to insert the batteries with the correct polarity (+/-). If the unit repeatedly powers down or the red light flashes three times then powers down, it may be an indication that the batteries need to be replaced.
