To charge batteries using the Tenergy 96117 Smart Battery Charger, follow these steps:
1. Insert 1 to 4 pieces of AA/AAA/C/D or 1 to 2 pieces of 9V rechargeable Ni-MH batteries into the battery compartment.
2. Make sure to correctly align the polarity (positive and negative) of the batteries according to the signs in the battery compartment.
3. Connect the supplied AC adapter's barrel plug into the jack on the back of the charger.
4. Plug the AC adapter into a household electric outlet. The switching power supply will adjust automatically.
5. The LCD display will indicate the proper charging status, and the word "Charging" will be shown. The blue backlight will light up during the charging process.
6. Once the batteries are fully charged, the word "FULL" will be displayed on the LCD screen, indicating that the batteries are ready for use.
7. Unplug the charger and remove the batteries from the charger when not in use.
8. Repeat the process from step 1 to charge the next set of batteries.
