Calibrating the GemRed 82412BB-00 Digital Angle Gauge is a simple process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Ensure that the gauge is turned off before starting the calibration process.
2. Place the gauge on a stable and flat surface, making sure it is level.
3. Press and hold the "Zero" button on the gauge for a few seconds until the display shows "0.0" or "CAL" to enter the calibration mode.
4. While still holding the "Zero" button, gently rotate the gauge to the desired reference angle. This angle should be known and accurate.
5. Release the "Zero" button once the desired reference angle is reached. The gauge will now be calibrated to that angle.
6. To verify the calibration, you can repeat the process by placing the gauge on the same stable and flat surface and checking if the display shows the reference angle accurately.
