To set up your Echo Show 10, follow these steps:
1. Thoroughly clean and dry the location where you want to place your Echo Show 10.
2. Plug the included power adapter into the base of the device and set it in place.
3. Give the Echo Show 10 at least 15.5 cm of space from a wall to allow it to rotate. If you need to place it near a wall, it can learn to adjust its rotation range.
4. Slide the included rotation footprint template around the body of the device. This template shows the keep-out space around the device, so always keep this space clear of objects.
5. Plug the adapter into a wall socket and follow the on-screen instructions to register your Echo Show 10.
6. During registration, the Echo Show 10 will rotate to calibrate and locate its idle position. After calibrating, you may need to adjust the device so that the screen is facing the direction you'll most often see it from.
