To install the Skar Audio VD-10 D4 10" subwoofer in your car, follow these steps:
1. Start by removing the door trims by unscrewing all visible screws and those hidden under the plastic panels. Remove the door completely.
2. Remove the old wire and crossover. Connect the crossover's input to the factory speaker wire, then split the high and low signals between the woofer and the tweeter.
3. Mark out the xxxx position and use a cordless drill to drill the holes after lining up the speaker where it will sit in the door.
4. Use cable ties to tidy up the wiring to prevent any rattling from inside the door.
5. Connect everything and replace the door in its original location.
