To program the OMAIC Universal Smart TV Remote Control for Samsung Smart TV, you have two options: using the remote control itself or using a mobile device with the SmartThings App. Here are the steps for each method:
Using the Remote Control:
1. Press the right button on your remote to start the initial setup.
2. Follow the on-screen directions to connect your external devices to the TV. Your TV will automatically register the external devices.
Using a Mobile Device:
1. Begin the initial setup with your mobile device and follow the directions. You will need the SmartThings App for this process.
2. The Universal Remote setup will automatically progress in the initial setup process.
3. Switch on the connected external devices, and the Universal Remote will be set up automatically.
If you need to set up a new external device:
1. Click the home button on your remote and select Universal Remote on the Source menu.
2. Select the new device.
3. Choose the device type that you want to connect with your universal remote.
4. Select the brand of your device.
5. Select the TV port that your device is connected to.
6. Conduct a power test of your device.
7. Select "done" to finish the process.
