To pair the RC280 replacement remote with your TCL Roku TV, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries into the remote, making sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
2. Make sure your TCL Roku TV is turned on and within range of the remote (up to 10 meters).
3. There is no need for programming or pairing. Simply replace the batteries and the remote should work.
4. If the remote is still not working, try the following troubleshooting steps:
a. Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly and have enough power. Replace the batteries if necessary.
b. Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV that could interfere with the infrared signal.
c. Check if the infrared sensor on your TCL Roku TV is clean and not blocked by any objects.
d. If the remote is still not functioning properly, try resetting it by removing the batteries and pressing the number 1 button on the remote for 60 seconds. Then, reinsert the batteries.
