To program frequencies into the Baofeng UV-5R Two Way Radio, follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU button to enter the menu mode.
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the menu option "VFO/MR" and press the MENU button to select it.
3. Use the arrow keys to select the desired frequency range (VHF or UHF) and press the MENU button to confirm.
4. Use the arrow keys to select the desired frequency step (2.5kHz/5kHz/6.25kHz/10kHz/12.5kHz/25kHz) and press the MENU button to confirm.
5. Use the arrow keys to select the desired channel number and press the MENU button to confirm.
6. Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired frequency (e.g., 146.520 for the 2-meter calling frequency) and press the MENU button to confirm.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 to program additional frequencies.
8. Press the EXIT button to exit the menu mode.
