The host of the Wsdcam 113dB Bike Alarm uses 3 AAA batteries. Under normal usage, the batteries can last between 1 to 3 months. In standby mode, the batteries can last up to 6 months continuously. The remote control uses 1 12V/27A alkaline battery, which can last for more than 1 year with an assumption of 5 times usage per day.
