The battery life of the LandAirSea 54 GPS Tracker depends on the mode it is set to and the amount of driving or motion it goes through. In the stock Original or Full Tracking Mode, the battery should last approximately 25 activity hours. With most average drivers (1 to 2 hours of driving a day), the unit should last approximately a week and a half to two weeks. In the Energy Saver Mode (ESM), the battery can last much longer depending on the update frequency selected. The approximate battery life for each ESM option is as follows:
- Update location every 30 minutes: 10 to 15 days
- Update location every 1 hour: 15 to 30 days
- Update location every 2 hours: 1 to 1.5 months
- Update location every 4 hours: 1.5 to 2.5 months
- Update location every 6 hours: 2 to 3 months
- Update location every 12 hours: 3 to 4 months
- Update location every 24 hours: 4 to 6 months
Please note that these battery life projections are based on the device starting at 100% charged. The battery will only be used when the device is in motion, and it will enter a dormant sleep state when stationary to conserve battery life.
