To mount the Shure SM7B microphone on a microphone stand, follow these steps:
1. Remove the tightening nuts on the sides of the microphone.
2. Remove the fitted washers, lock washers, outer brass washers, and brass sleeves.
3. Slide the bracket off the microphone, being careful not to lose the washers still on the microphone.
4. Invert and rotate the bracket, then slide it back onto the bolts over the brass and plastic washers still on the microphone. Make sure the XLR connector faces the rear of the microphone and the Shure logo on the back is right-side up.
5. Replace the brass sleeves, ensuring they are seated properly within the inner washers.
6. Replace the outer brass washers, lock washers, and fitted washers.
7. Finally, replace the tightening nuts and tighten the microphone at the desired angle.
