To set up the Fifine Metal Condenser Recording Microphone, follow these steps:
1. Connect the microphone to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. Make sure the volume on your computer is turned all the way down before plugging in the microphone.
3. Gradually turn up the volume for the perfect effect during use.
4. Position the microphone with the front facing the sound source for the best pickup effect.
5. Install and adjust the tripod stand to hold the microphone in a fixed position.
6. For Apple MAC OS:
- Open System Preferences and click on Sound.
- Select "USB PnP Audio Device" as the default input device.
- Adjust the volume of input and output as needed.
- If you want to monitor your voice, turn on any recording software and enable "Software Playthrough".
7. For Windows:
- Wait for the microphone driver to automatically install (may take a few seconds).
- Right-click the speaker icon on the bottom right of the screen and click "Sounds".
- Confirm that the loudspeaker is open and adjust the volume of output.
- Select "USB PnP Audio Device" as the default recording device.
- If you want to directly monitor your recording, enable "Listen to this device" in the microphone properties.
8. Adjust the microphone level in your recording software to achieve optimum performance.
9. Position the microphone directly in front of the sound source for the best frequency response.
10. Avoid exposing the microphone to extreme temperatures or high humidity.
