To activate the different game modes on the VATOS 35842 Whack Game Mole, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the game is powered on by inserting 3 AA 1.5V batteries into the battery compartment correctly.
2. Locate the mode switch on the game unit. It is usually located on the side or bottom of the game.
3. To play in trial play mode, set the mode switch to the trial play position. In this mode, you can play without using coins and focus on improving your skills. The game will start automatically once the power is turned on.
