To change the batteries in the Baby Einstein 30704 Take Along Tunes Toy, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the toy is turned off and remove any screws or fasteners securing the battery compartment cover.
2. Open the battery compartment cover to reveal the battery compartment.
3. Take note of the battery polarity markings inside the compartment. It should indicate which way the batteries should be inserted (+ and - symbols).
4. Remove the old batteries from the compartment and dispose of them properly.
5. Insert two new AA batteries into the compartment, aligning the positive (+) and negative (-) ends according to the polarity markings.
6. Close the battery compartment cover securely, ensuring it is tightly closed to prevent accidental opening.
7. Test the toy by pressing the big button to see if the lights and music play properly.
