1. Remove the air stone from the aquarium: Disconnect the air pump and remove the air stone from the tank.
2. Soak the air stone: Fill a container with vinegar or an aquarium-safe cleaner. Place the air stone in the container and let it soak for about 30 minutes to an hour. This will help dissolve any mineral buildup or debris.
