To change the color and brightness settings of the LUXSWAY DY61RF Remote Control Umbrella Light, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the light is installed and the batteries are properly inserted.
2. Make sure the remote control is paired with the light by removing the plastic protection tab from the remote and inserting the included CR2032 button cell battery.
3. Use the remote control to turn on the light by pressing the power button.
4. To change the color, press the color-changing button on the remote. There are 12 color options to choose from.
5. To adjust the brightness, use the (+) and (-) buttons on the remote. Press the (+) button to increase the brightness and the (-) button to decrease it.
6. Experiment with the different lighting modes by pressing the mode button on the remote. The available modes are Flash, Strobe, Smooth, and Fade.
7. If you want the light to turn off automatically after a certain period of time, press the timer button on the remote. You can choose between 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours.
8. Test the range of the remote control by standing at different distances from the light, up to 80 feet away. Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light.
9. Check that the light fits securely on the umbrella pole. It should be adjustable to fit poles with a diameter of 36mm to 46mm.
10. Verify that the light retains the last brightness and color settings after turning off and on again.
