To set the timer function on the NICREW N21861 Planted LED Aquarium Light, follow these steps:
1. Press the button on the controller to turn on the light.
2. Press the button to switch to daylight mode.
3. Press the button to choose one of the 3 preset timer modes (8H, 10H, or 12H).
4. Once you have selected a timer mode, the light will automatically turn on and off according to the chosen schedule.
5. In timer mode, the light will gradually ramp up from 5% to 100% brightness in 15 minutes at the scheduled on time, simulating a sunrise. It will then gradually dim down from 100% to 0% brightness in 15 minutes at the scheduled off time, simulating a sunset.
6. If there is a power outage while in timer mode, you will need to reset the timer once the power is back on.
7. Please note that the timer function is only available in daylight mode and cannot be used for the moonlight mode.
