To insert the batteries into the Crayola 811395 Mess-Free Touch-Lights, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Phillips screwdriver and three AA alkaline batteries (not included).
2. Use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the battery cover screws located underneath the base of the Touch-Lights. Remove any used batteries and dispose of them properly.
3. Insert three AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure the direction matches the diagram inside the battery case.
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screws securely.
