The Raynic 5000 Weather Radio can be charged in multiple ways. Here are the different charging methods:
1. Hand Crank Power: Unfold the crank handle from the backside of the radio and rotate it in any direction. Rotate the crank handle at a speed of 2 laps per second to generate 300-350mA electricity and charge the built-in 21700 rechargeable batteries.
2. Solar Power: Expose the solar panel to sunlight. It will generate 30-50mA electricity to charge the built-in 21700 rechargeable battery. Please note that solar charging is primarily for maintaining the battery and may not fully charge it.
3. Micro USB Charging Input: Connect the included USB cable to a regular AC power adapter (not included). Plug the USB cable into the Micro USB port of the radio and the AC adapter into a 110-220V standard outlet. It is recommended to use a 5V/2A AC power adapter.
4. Li-ion Rechargeable Battery: The radio contains a 5000mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery.
5. AAA Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit and insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring the polarity is correct. When the Li-ion Rechargeable Battery power is low, the power source will automatically switch to AAA batteries.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions on charging and power supply modes.
