To power on the CD player, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The LCD display will turn on and read the inserted disc after displaying the "60 SEC" anti-skip message. If there is no disc inserted or if the inserted disc has an error, the display will show "disc".
To power off the CD player, there are two options:
1. In CD stop mode, press the STOP button once. The display will go off, indicating that the power is turned off.
2. In CD playing mode, press the STOP button twice. This will also turn off the power.
