To change the batteries in the EVEREADY 039800140005 headlamp, please follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the tail cap of the headlamp by twisting it counterclockwise.
2. Remove the old batteries from the battery compartment.
3. Insert three new AAA batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to align them according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
