To install the PULACO PL-168 25W Aquarium Heater in your aquarium, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the heater is unplugged and turned off before starting the installation process.
2. Choose a suitable location in your aquarium for the heater. It should be mounted on the inside of the tank and fully submerged in water.
3. Place the heater on the bottom of the tank, making sure it is securely positioned.
4. Keep the heater's head covered and continue adding water to the tank until it reaches the desired level.
5. Once the water level is appropriate, plug in the heater to an electrical outlet. The red light on the indicator will turn on, indicating that the heater is operational.
6. The heater will start heating the water until it reaches a temperature of 78°F. Once the desired temperature is reached, the red light will go out, and the green light will come on, indicating that the heater has turned off and will maintain the water temperature at 78°F.
It is important to note that the heater should always be fully submerged in water to ensure proper operation and safety. Additionally, it is recommended to use a separate aquarium thermometer to accurately monitor the water temperature.
If you have any further questions or encounter any issues during the installation process, please refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
