To set up the TP-Link Archer AX21 Wireless Internet Router, follow these steps:
1. Connect the router to your modem: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the WAN port of the router to the LAN port of your modem.
2. Power on the router: Plug the power adapter into the router and connect it to a power outlet. Press the power button to turn on the router.
3. Connect to the router: Use a computer or mobile device to connect to the Wi-Fi network named "TP-Link_xxxxxx" (the default Wi-Fi name is printed on the router label). Enter the default Wi-Fi password (also printed on the label) when prompted.
4. Configure the router: Open a web browser and enter "tplinkwifi.net" or the default IP address (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) in the address bar. Log in using the default username and password (both are "admin" by default).
5. Quick Setup: The Quick Setup wizard will guide you through the initial configuration. Select your time zone, choose your internet connection type (Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, or others), and enter the required information. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
6. Customize settings: After the initial setup, you can customize various settings according to your preferences. The user manual provides detailed instructions on how to configure Wi-Fi settings, set up a guest network, enable parental controls, and more.
