To set up the Hiearcool UCN3270 USB C Hub USB-C Laptop Docking Station, follow these steps:
1. Plug in your external peripheral onto the hub.
2. Plug in the Apple Power Adapter into the USB C port of the hub.
3. Plug the hub all the way into the USB C ports of your MacBook Pro or other Type-C devices.
If you want to use the hub in Extend Mode (where the computer and the external monitor can be the same or different), make sure your Windows system computer supports this mode. Set the Display Setting to "Extend these displays."
If you want to use the hub in Mirror Mode (where your laptop screen is mirrored on the external monitor), follow these steps:
- For Apple laptops: Change your laptop setting by clicking "Mirror Displays." The USB C hub supports Mac to extend two monitors through the HDMI and VGA ports simultaneously.
- For Windows laptops: Change the display settings to "Duplicate these displays" by right-clicking.
Please note that the hub does not support USB C display output for USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 (SGb/s) ports.
