To set up the Reolink E1 Series Indoor Wi-Fi Camera, follow these steps:
1. Download and launch the Reolink App or Client software on your smartphone or PC.
- On Smartphone: Scan the QR code provided in the manual or visit the download link: https://reolink.com/wp-json/reo-v2/ap...
- On PC: Go to the Reolink website (https://reolink.com), navigate to Support > App & Client, and download the Reolink Client software.
2. Mount the camera on the wall using the provided mounting hole template and screws.
- Drill two holes on the wall according to the template.
- Insert the plastic anchors into the holes.
- Secure the base unit in place by tightening the screws into the plastic anchors.
- Align the camera with the bracket and turn the camera unit clockwise to lock it in position.
3. Connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network.
- Follow the onscreen instructions in the Reolink App or Client software to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi band meets the network requirement of the camera.
- Enter the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Place the camera close to your router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Change the encryption method of the Wi-Fi network to WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK (safer encryption) on your router interface.
- Change your Wi-Fi SSID or password if necessary, ensuring that SSID is within 31 characters and password is within 64 characters.
- Set your password using only the characters on the keyboard.
